Paul Scholes does not think Manchester United can compete to your Premier League title in the following two decades.
The midfielder considers the side results this season show they stay behind last season’s top four.
United, who drew with Southampton last weekend, have only 1 victory in their opening four matches, lost after thrashing Chelsea on the opening day and having attracted with sailors.
Scholes said: »I think you almost have to write United off to the subsequent two years – that group – till Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has rid everything he needs out; includes five or four transfer windows.
« United are going to be behind Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.
« I think this is United at the minute; you have to be patient with the young players however the seasoned players need to step up.
« We have seen over and over how many mistakes experienced gamers are making. It’s hard for young players to come to a team such as this. »
Scholes suggested that Solskjaer made the incorrect decision to withdraw Juan Mata after Jannick Vestergaard cancelled out Dan James’ opener in the 1-1 draw.
« I’m frustrated. From once the moment Juan Mata went off it seemed like. I was surprised because I thought if anybody is going to create something it’s Juan Mata, » Scholes said.
« But it was not the young players that I was frustrated with, it was the experienced players. When Matic came on he gave away the ball, Ashley Young gave the ball away, amd I do not understand the number of times Paul Pogba missing ownership.
« These are those that young gamers are looking around, the cases you’re looking at. »
